Rowdy is a 14.3 hand gelding that is as versatile as they come. He’s by Big Star and out of a Rowdy Yankee mare - he is bred in the purple on both sides of his papers, and it shows! He has the CUTEST face - with a little spot on his blaze. He has a thick, frosted mane and tail. And he’s America’s Favorite Color - Buckskin! Rowdy has all the bells and whistles. He’s a finished reining horse with a lot of athletic ability. He stops with ease, spins fast, lopes cute circles, changes leads, etc. He has smooth, easy to ride gaits and he is sensitive but not sparky. Rowdy will jog all day but he also has a killer extended trot! Rowdy has been shown in the reining pen, in the ranch classes (from halter to performance) ranch riding, etc. He’s been used around the ranch for everything from pulling sleds to dragging calves at brandings. He will cross water, bridges, lead the herd, or follow, or heck, even go alone. The outdoors arent new to him and he is great even outside of the arena. He will excel in most any areas with his next home - He’s beautiful and talented to show but will be sturdy enough and quiet to trail ride or use at home. He has been kept both inside in a stall and outside in a herd. He does well both ways. Rowdy doesnt let himself miss meals and is a very easy keeper. He loves attention and is always easy to catch.
